Life is a Vibration!

The population's perception is glued to
physical appearances and sounds...
but thoughtful actions are the true electricity
that fill life with warmth and light.
Life is a vibration that
constantly ebbs and flows,
like music it is
a motion
lasting a 32nd of a beat
or for 4 full measures...
it doesn't matter
since it exists and sustains
effortlessly and infinitely
connecting us in ways
that many minds
haven't even imagined.
Everyone plays a role in society
and there's enough society for everyone
so there's no action too small
or insignificant since time
is the only thing holding us
in the spaces we cohabitate
for we all share this same life
and our kids will inherit their lives from our activities
and the world we create will soon be theirs.
There are little reactions to every
person's actions starting outward from your body
they spread to your neighbor and then to your whole town,
state, country, continent, hemisphere, world,
solar system, galaxy, universe.
So.... make a little love,
spread a lot of cheer,
stop the fighting,
solve problems,
provide freedom,
educate the uneducated,
feed the starving,
house the homeless,
save the environment,
offer quality health care,
and do your part
no matter how small
to live a good life
and spread good karma
{vibrations}
that echo across the oceans
to places you've not yet been.
Wily

I'm feeling wily,
like a wild cat coyote,
sneaking through the shadows of a distant secret cavern
just seconds before the drunken miner
turns his head lamp on...
just minutes before the sudden rumbling cough
of the approaching railroad car
causes the coal dust to tumble
down and cover his boots.

Common ground,
Full of hope
And endless light...
I grasped onto
A slate of sacred stone,
A vision true,
A toneful place,
A message guide,
So calm and safe,
A healing home
I had misplaced.
Naming us along the way,
With lyrics of the living wage…
Fingers spun the working wheel,
Collecting signs of the simpler age,
Unlocking time’s old mystery...
My friends were there
To climb with me.
